Falls and Home Safety Assessment

Establish your personal risks that could lead to a fall and establish what could help you stay safe and confident at home.

Can include:

  • A review of how you are managing day‑to‑day activities

  • A balance and movement assessment

  • Asessment of your home for hazards

  • Advice on aids to support safety at home.

  • Education on fall prevention and healthy aging

  • Establishing practical steps to help you stay steady and independent

Balance and Everyday Movement Support

Be more steady and independent in your daily life with individualised exercises.

Can include:

  • 1-1 sessions focusing on improving balance, strength and confidence.

  • development of a personalised exercise programme that you can do in your own time that focuses on building strength and stablity.

  • education on all you need to know about how to improve your balance and stability.

Rehabilitation to Rebuild Daily Living Skills

Supporting you to get back to everyday life with confidence after illness or a hospital stay.

Can include:

  • assessment of your daily activities followed by advice on how to do these independently and safely.

  • advice on aids and adaptions that can help to improve safety and independence at home.

  • 1-1 sessions to work towards individuals goals so that you can keep doing the things that matter.

Pricing

Initial assessment - £65 for the first hour. Additional 15 minutes are charged at an additional £15.

Follow up rehabilitation- £60 per hour

Please note mileage will be charged on all Occupational Therapy visits at £0.45p per mile after the first 5 miles, of the return trip to the therapist’s base.
