Falls Prevention and Balance Training:
the Key to Safety and Independence in Older Adults
Struggle to access a gym or clinic?
No problem! Access expert falls prevention support with ease and in the comfort of your own home.
Why Does Fall Prevention Matter?
🔹 Every year, millions of adults over 65 experience a fall.
🔹 Falls are the leading cause of injury and loss of independence in older adults.
🔹 Even a single fall can cause a fear of falling, which often leads to inactivity, muscle weakness, and increased fall risk.
Falls aren’t simply about balance and walking…
The risk of falling is multifactorial and prevention is based on assessing multiple risk factors including:
Muscle strength, joint mobility and balance
Vision & inner ear function
Medications
Home environment
Confidence & mental wellbeing
That’s why my approach goes beyond just exercise — it looks at the full picture.
